Where Does a Windows Theme Pack (.themepack) File being Saved?
I ran to this problem after downloading tons of windows theme pack file from various sources but majority came from Windows 7 Personalization site. Anyway, the situation here is to copy all those downloaded windows theme pack files (.themepack) to a newly installed Windows 7 PC.
Now if you’re like me who is trying to figure out where these files and folders located then worry no more. I just found where it is saved and I have successfully copied all those Theme Pack files on my new PC.
Here’s how to locate the installed Windows Theme Pack Folders:
Click on the windows explorer icon.
Enable show hidden files, folders and drives. Do this by clicking on the Organize button then Folder and Search Options, then click on the View tab and click show hidden files, folders and drives.
Now navigate to this folder C:\Users\User-Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes and copy all the theme pack files you have previously installed to your new PC.
