Directed by Tim Burton, the 2012 Gothic horror-comedy Dark Shadows follows 18th-century vampire Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) as he returns to his ruined estate in 1972 after being cursed by witch Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). Plot: After being entombed for nearly 200 years, Barnabas is accidentally freed in 1972.
