What’s in the theme?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and a fictional sea song from the novel Treasure Island. This is the second installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, released in 2006. Captain Jack Sparrow has a blood debt to pay to the ghostly Davy Jones, ruler of the ocean depths. If he doesn’t find a way out, he will be damned to an afterlife of servitude on Jones’ ship, the Flying Dutchman. Meanwhile, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann are arrested for aiding Jack and are forced to help Lord Cutler Beckett of the East India Trading Company find Jack’s compass, which can lead them to the fabled “Dead Man’s Chest” containing Davy Jones’s heart.
